How to enjoy tea

I'm only learning this year after many years of being convinced that I like certain teas and don't like others that I am allowed to make it to my own specifications. Right this second, I'm drinking a sencha which I brewed for way too long with too much leaf and in a western style teapot. And I am absolutely loving it. I'm tasting notes that other people might not enjoy, I can recognize that readily. But I didn't make this tea for other people. I made it for me and I'm allowed to break the rules. So are you.
