Is Waterloo similar to Polar? (esp the carbonation)
I just recently got into sparkling water. I tried it many, many years ago. I don't know if I just didn't like it, or the brands sucked, or the flavors sucked. I tried La Croix, Bubly, and AHA. Bubly could gag a maggot. I didn't try it again for years because Bubly scarred me.
Anyway, I've been trying to drink less alcohol and diet soda, but I love hard seltzers. I figured, why not try the... not hard seltzers? I tried Sanpellegrino strictly because the packaging and cans looked pretty. And it was on sale. I tried the blood orange flavor, and it was great. Loved it. Then Polar was on sale, so I tried those. Even better. Flavor was better in all the ones I tried. Blueberry lemonade, tart cherry limeade, raspberry pink lemonade. 100/10. And the carbonation was like, Dr. Pepper levels of carbonation. I'm a sipper, not a chugger, so it not going flat so fast is important.
Anyway, I go to Sam's club every so often and the only sparkling water they have is Waterloo. I can't find what I'm looking for in smaller stores. It's either out of stock, or it's a flavor I know I won't like. It doesn't help that my grocery stores just have such a small selection of it as well. I haven't been able to get my hands on it to see if it's worth buying in bulk or not.
The variety pack at my Sam's club has raspberry nectarine, blackberry lemonade, and summer berry. Sounds like my kind of thing. However, I need opinions. Is Waterloo similar to Polar? Especially, and probably the most important thing, in terms of carbonation. I don't want to buy a buttload of sparkling water and end up hating it.
