[US] Is this a trafficking scam?

So I want to preface this by saying that it could totally be an overreaction and I know I'm not responsible for her safety anymore. But I recently found out that my ex had been talking to someone on Discord while we were still together. He and she spent a crap ton of time talking together and sending each other stuff (porn, Discord games, etc).

When I asked her about it she told me he was a blonde, 6'4" pilot who is 27 years old, and doesn't go to school. She just left on a flight for spring break, and I am pretty much 100% sure she's planning on meeting this person. Whatever, she can make her own choices.

However, what concerned me is that in the messages that I read (she used my computer for Discord *fp*), they were talking about him doing ROTC. This immediately set off alarm bells. Am I justified for being concerned about this? Or should I just chalk it up to miscommunication? I wasn't able to get their Discord handle unfortunately.

For some additional context, she told me a long time ago that she almost got trafficked before and didn't realize it until well after the fact. She also has BPD and can make incredibly emotional decisions. Should I be worried?
