I Just Canceled My WPT Gold Subscription Because Their Support Is Terrible

Ever since WPT Gold added PLO, I’ve had a subscription. Not because I care about anything it offers, but because the games are.....special.... and I think having subscribers to their “training” site gives them an extra claim to legitimacy. And it’s literally free because of the bonus chips thing.

Anyway, on January 4th and 5th I was charged for my monthly subscription. I think I even saw an email saying it was a known problem and to reach out if you saw the duplicate charge. I emailed them on 1/29/26 to bring up the issue. They responded on 2/2/26 saying it had been escalated to their payment team.

By 2/17/26 I hadn’t heard anything, so I reached out again. Now, over a month later, they still haven’t resolved the duplicate charge or even contacted me. I emailed them today saying that if I haven’t heard anything by Tuesday, I’ll dispute the duplicate charge with my financial institution. I also canceled my subscription 100% solely because of this experience.

Not sure what else to do, so I guess I’ll cry about it on Reddit.
