Surround yourself with people who love you for you, not just as a kink.

You need to be in the company of people who treat you like you are an individual, and you are deserving of someone appreciating all you have to offer. If you are making the effort to love and care for someone, be it your partner or your crush or even just a friend, and you suspect that they only want you around for sex? You need to take that seriously. Because you deserve much more than to feel reduced to nothing but a sexy trans man. You can be sexy but there is more to you than that. If you are showing up and making the effort for someone to understand them and show that you appreciate them, and they don’t reciprocate that and seem to only be interested in sex when you see them—call it out. And please don’t let yourself be exploited or fetishized. Don’t make excuses for them.
