Please help me pick a laptop

Please help me pick a laptop; I need something that has good battery life and good portability. Which I know that doesn't run hand in hand with a gaming laptop. I know that macbooks are not known for gaming but I was leaning towards a macbook or a zephyrus I would like something that I can play games on I play cozy game so nothing outrageous but don't want it to overheat I play dreamlight, HKIA, Coral Island and the Sims. I am also a student so I run multiple apps at the same time primarily Quickbooks and I run a remote desktop.

I currently have a 4090 Lenovo Legion but the battery kills me and it constantly runs hot.
