Bleeding at 6wks

Hi all - first pregnancy and was trying to avoid Reddit so as to keep my sanity, but my sanity is gone.

On Wednesday, 3/3 I went to the ER for brownish bleeding and light cramping. They checked my HCG (~2800) and did an ultrasound, saw little peanut with a heartbeat measuring at 5w6d. They sent me home thinking it was a SCH that they couldn’t pick up on ultrasound because it was too early.

Thursday, I started having some moderate cramps and my bleeding is now bright red with small clots in it. I haven’t bled through a pad yet, but obviously scared shitless.

My OB said all they can really do right now is track my HCG through bloodwork over the next few days to make sure it’s going up and not down.

I think understandably I’m terrified and really trying to stay optimistic since I did see the baby and its little heart was beating. I guess just looking for some success stories, advice on how to not lose my mind while waiting for HCG results, or just kind encouraging words… thanks all 💛
