Newish and need Venus 9

I am not sure if I am doing this right - super new to trading. I need a Venus - everyone that I match with, their wishlists don’t have any 9s that I even have so I am throwing them 5-6 cards on their wishlist with at least 2 2-3 stars if possible depending on their own wish list. What can I do better? These people have 2-3 or more Venus 9s and don’t even decline, just leave me on read.
