Is there a reason my landlord isn't cashing the rent cheques?

We moved into our condo April of last year. Our landlord requested post dated cheques. She hasn't cashed the last 3 cheques (Dec, Jan, and Feb). Texted her and reminded her twice now to cash them, she said she would but hasn't. Could there be a tax reason or something on why she hasn't cashed them yet?
