Dp 1.4a or HDMI 2.1 500hz

I have 272qp qd-oled X50 , and when I go full 500hz my monitor randomly sometimes go black screen for few seconds. I use 2.1 HDMI. Is dp 1.4a going to fix this problem for me? I think the problem is from the cable itself because when I switch to 360hz I never get the black screen only in 500hz with DSC on.
