So my gf wants to buy a car for herself, so she can commute to her office daily, office distance is 20 km from her house, so 40 km of daily driving, she can drive her brother's baleno manual fine, but her family is insisting getting her a smaller car then baleno as she is new to driving.

i was thinking of either recommending her newer punch ev or 3xo ev, as it might be possible, that future commuting distance increases, and its mostly going to be driven in city only, as they have 7 seater already for highway runs, also i already have 3XO AT petrol and Ciaz Diesel with me so not sure having another petrol car would do any good.

however her family wants a compact smaller car with Automatic gearbox, and most small cars have AMT gearbox only, how reliable and good they are in gurgaon traffic? are small cars even safe? also gurgaon do gets flooded during monsoon season so thats a problem for a small car too right? new punch ev had 450 mm of water wading capacity, not sure about 3xo ev, even my petrol 3xo have just 350mm water wading capacity is it enough?

Budget is not an issue but need a small car only, i saw the dimension of Punch EV and on paper is smaller then Baleno, but is the case?

i was fixed on Punch EV but then saw Gagan review of Punch EV and he had a lot of complaints regarding it, does anyone own one?

I know 3XO is very sorted mechanical wise car, although no review regarding the EV, but most likely they won't buy as its wider car :/

Suggest me few points to convince her family to get a good 5 star gncap car.
