Freedom Mobile Roaming - Important fine print

Freedom Mobile Roaming is great most of the time. If however you enter a country not in the Freedom Mobile coverage and leave your phone on - it will work and you can use it but you will be charged very high fees - recently an layover stop in Cairo (Egypt is not in the plan) I was charged $65 for using my phone and a smaller charge for each call. Another fine print issue is that you can call within the overseas country and you can call back to Canada but if you call from your roaming country to a USA or other foreign country you suffer a very large fee for that call. Users beware, this is not a worry free system as advertised. I have to pay more attention to have e-sims for non-covered countries and don't call from a covered country to a USA or other country while roaming - they charge you more money than a month of your plan costs.
