Squad Battles after latest patch

Squad Battles on Legendary have become much more difficult after the patch. Now that passing has improved, the AI has benefited from it as well, and they rarely make mistakes at that level anymore. If you pressure the AI, they just keep retreating, sometimes all the way back to their own goal. The update was okay overall, but the impact on Squad Battles was really negative. Has anyone else noticed that playing against the AI has become significantly harder now?
