Do vendors just have a chemist connection?

I know this stuff isn’t coming from overseas because china banned it and I tried contacting like Indian labs and they weren’t receptive or the price was outrageous. labs I talked to here in the US asked too many questions and clearly didn’t want to make it. but it seems like to get 90%+ purity you would need to have someone who is chemically skilled and has a laboratory. I mean where else is the supply for this stuff coming from? at one point I wanted to start selling it but it’s looking like it will be banned soon so likely no longer worth the effort.
