I usually don't gravitate towards the bath bombs that result in dark/murky colors, but depression is hitting hard this morning and i wanted to take a bath to help uplift my mood. The only bath bomb I had on hand is one my husband uses, which is the Black Rose bath bomb. I have some more on the way for him, so i decided to plop it in the tub.

Before hopping in, I grabbed the first bar of soap I saw from my lush stash. It happened to be one of my new favorites, Lailah- the deep blue and gold shimmer is so beautiful on the skin, and the sparkles are so subtle so I really dont mind. Plus the scent 😍 (i have the Salam SG and Basma as well, its so wonderful and uplifting)

Anyhow, after getting in i started using Lailah and omg..... the picture really doesnt do this combo justice. The gold glitter in the black bath water looks so mesmerizing, especially in dim light. I ended up letting the soap float in the water, and it turned the water a deep blue.... I felt like I was floating in the stars or something! 😂

I just wanted to share this beautiful looking and smelling combo- it's calming yet uplifting. The Salam/Lailah scent really compliment the rose jammy-ness of Black Rose. I'm going to try and nab a few more of these soaps to spoil myself with this concoction in the future!
