AITA for confronting my second grade teacher at a grocery store?

I (20M) recently saw my teacher from second grade. Mind you, she aged like fine wine. She looks the exact same just with a couple grey hair strands now. She still teaches at the school for some unexplained reason. I know this because my sister works there and actively has to work with her.

My reason to confront her was because she was very odd back then. She was always yelling at us daily for no reason and talking so rudely to us. She was very rude and condescending to all of us. Plus she had a strict bathroom policy. We were only allowed to go to the bathroom once a day. She went off on me for having to go to the bathroom multiple times a day. Like excuse me for having the bladder of an 8 year old. There was one instance where this girl peed on herself and the teacher announced it in front of the entire class completely humiliating her. She also yelled at me in front of the entire class because I couldn’t understand 2 digit subtraction making me cry in front of everyone. She told me to go wash my face. My sister had told me that she’s doing the same thing. Yelling at kids and just acting strange.

Looking back at it as an adult. If you’re a grown woman yelling at kids on a daily basis, humiliating them, and treating them like garbage then you have some serious problems. I walked up to her and asked her if she remembered me. She looked confused told me no. I told her my name and it instantly clicked for her. She didn’t look too excited to see me. I told her what I’ve been meaning to say to her for years. I told her that she’s a weirdo for how she treats children. She told me it’s not my place to tell her how to teach and that she was nothing but kind to me. I brought up all the things she did in the past and told her she should be ashamed. I told her to say all those things to me now as a grown man. She was quiet and she just walked away.

I told my gf about this and she said I was an AH for bringing up old shit. I argued that the way she treated children is not okay because she actively still does this.
