New investors: what makes you hesitate before buying a stock?
If you're still new to investing, I'd love to hear your real experience.
When you think about buying a stock but feel unsure, what usually causes that?
For example:
- fear of buying at the wrong time
- too much conflicting information
- big price moves
- news or earnings
- not knowing what actually matters
And what do you usually do then?
- wait
- buy a small amount
- research more
- skip it
- buy an ETF instead
Just real examples - not the “perfect strategy”.
