Just picked up some new Manchester United jerseys – honest thoughts 🦁⚽️
Guys, I just grabbed a few new Manchester United jerseys recently, and I figured I’d share my honest take – no hype, no agenda, just a lifelong Red Devil geeking out over some new kit. Let’s keep it real, not here to sell anything, just want to chat with fellow fans about what’s good (and what’s not so great).
First off, I went with the new adicolor capsule collection piece and the latest home jersey with the Snapdragon sponsor – if you haven’t seen the adicolor one yet, it’s got that retro vibe that’s hard to resist. The red base with black collars and cuffs, plus those classic stripes on the sleeves, takes me back to the 80s United kits, and the old 90s club badge is such a nice touch that hits different for long-time fans like me . It’s not flashy, just a clean, nostalgic design that feels like a nod to the club’s history.
The home jersey with the Snapdragon logo is solid too – let’s be real, I was a little skeptical about the new sponsor at first (RIP TeamViewer era), but it actually fits the kit better than I expected . The classic red is as vibrant as ever, and the fit is true to size – not too tight, not too baggy, which is a win because some recent kits have been hit or miss with sizing. I will say, the fabric feels lighter than last season’s, which is great for match days or even just throwing on for a casual day out.
Quality-wise, both are pretty on par with what I’d expect from Adidas – especially since United’s back in their “elite team” list, so you can tell they’re putting a little extra care into the design . The adicolor piece has that soft, vintage feel, while the home jersey is more performance-focused, with breathable fabric that doesn’t stick to you when it’s warm. No cheap printing here – the badges are woven, which feels premium, and the sponsor logo isn’t overwhelming (thankfully).
If I had to nitpick, the adicolor jersey is a little more casual than I thought – it’s more of a streetwear piece than something I’d wear to a match, but that’s not a complaint, just an observation. And the home jersey’s fabric, while lightweight, does feel a little thinner than previous years, but it’s not flimsy by any means.
Overall, I’m happy with the pickups. They’re not perfect, but they feel like United – a mix of heritage and modernity, which is exactly what I look for in a kit. Curious if any other Reds have grabbed these lately? What do you think of the adicolor retro design or the new sponsor on the home kit? Let’s hear your takes – no fanboy/girl bias, just real thoughts.
