Elden ring title menu

Every time i press start to get to the main menu im presented with "Returning to title menu" anyone seen/fixed this before?

I have uninstalled and installed 3 times.
I have installed it on another machine successfully so i know the files are intact.
I have done all the usual stuff disable defender etc - this is the first title i have had an issue with over the years.
