Hi all, we’re the team behind the Rondo and Neu watch faces. We’ve been working on a new one called Octo and would really appreciate your feedback. To make sure everyone can try it and share their thoughts, we’ve made it free until April 2nd.

We started designing Octo during the dark British winter, which made us want to create something bright and uplifting. Compared to our other watch faces, it’s brighter and has less black space. We spent ages finding the sweet spot where the layout is both clear and visually interesting, and as always we paid extra attention to the typography.

It’s currently in the early stages, and we’re finishing a few things, so you might occasionally see something odd. For example, localisation is still half-finished at the moment.

Current features:

* 2 background styles
* 2 time and date fonts
* Colours: curated themes, but you can also customise individual elements with a colour picker or hex codes
* Dynamic colours in some themes — they change with the data, (e.g. stress level gradually shifting from blue to red)
* 4 data fields with 30+ data options
* The data fields are long-pressable
* 5 indicators at the bottom
* All settings are available on the watch as well

Things we’re planning to add soon (some based on feedback):

* More background shapes (e.g. “pie”) — but we’d love more ideas
* Long-press support for the bottom indicators
* More colour themes
* AM/PM indicator
* Seconds

Any ideas or criticism are very welcome. And if you run into bugs, we’d really appreciate hearing about those too.

The British winter made us design a colourful watch face. Help! :)
