Elysion tactical obsession
With the new info we got about Ingrid's and E.H.'s mother, I think we have better insight into Ingrid's tactical obsession beyond it being a joke for the comedically serious military businesswoman. With Elysion Franca's obsession with strength and a Darwinistic need for power, Ingrid likely wanted to veer away from that path as the new CEO. Raw strength is cultivated, and it's something not everyone can develop equally, but good tactics are something anyone can develop uniquely to themselves.
Elysion Franca saw power as either something you had or you didn't, and if you didn't have it, you were worthless. Ingrid sees tactics as something anyone can have or develop by leaning into their strengths that don't rely on brawn. Work smarter and harder to win the fight; don't just bulldoze through the enemy because they will develop something to stop you, and when it comes to the Raptures (at least at the time), they will develop it faster than you. As we know, E.H. was considered the stronger of the two. For all we know, this mentality likely developed early on in their childhood, with Ingrid needing to play it smart to catch up to her older sister and prove herself, which, all in all, were great qualities that went overlooked by Franca's own obsession. Meanwhile, now Elysion under Ingrid sees value in nearly all their Nikkes, even if some are obviously not combat-oriented.
