Help

I want to die. I'm playing The Watcher, and sometimes when I try to enter a room, the game just... does nothing. Apparently, the slugcat is in the other room, and the camera stays in the previous one, making it impossible for me to continue. It won't even let me go back to the previous room. I'd say the game freezes, but no, it keeps working normally without my slugcat, forcing me to quit and re-enter to get to my last refuge. I've been searching, and the only thing I find is that, apparently, according to the wiki map, that room is where >!the Weaver is!<
