How to call America using Smart SIM or other convenient esim (manila)

Basically the title - I've been trying to use my prepaid smart sim but even with a hefty balance I don't seem to be able to call

I don't see any of the "flexi" call and text promos that offer international calling

I got a call to go through once, and it lasted for about 1 minute before it cut me off, and then ever since then it says "sorry oyu have not paid your cellphone service" or something

I used to use Skype but it's a thing of the past now.

Would really like to just be able to load and use my smart sim, e-calls have such bad delay to USA
