Ling has way too many chances to rob you.

I get the point of a trickster character , but she legit doesn’t have to commit to ANYTHING. She can cancel out of almost any stance she’s got and she’s got a few unexpectedly oppressive strings and CH launchers that she can get full on combos from that jab checking her isn’t in your best interest if you’re on defense. If you wanna frame it as purely a 100% skill check, do so if you really wish, but for as evasive as her properties are , she doesn’t have to commit to anything that’ll seriously backfire on her. I know she’s a big patience test , thank God even most of you Lings at TE have dogshit defense when people get around your usual every day cheeses, but a good Ling will really show you guys that the only thing keeping her from being high tier is her damage output ( which for her character archetype isn’t that bad tbh) and how many interactions she has to win. Coupled with heat? Man….
