Weed and the United States

I love how backwards our system is here. This has always bothered me. So the government lies and makes completely false and exaggerated claims about weed and the dangers of it and everyone is scared shitless of it.

Now we find out, it isn't even that harmful at all, and can actually help with a number of medical conditions. So peacefully smoking a plant is a major issue, but instead we get benzodiazepines for our anxiety and opioids for our pain and stimulants for our ADHD and that's completely fine.

So we should trust the government again, why.? They ran an entire disinformation campaign just on weed to scare everyone away from it. The government manufactured a problem with weed that we're now trying to solve and none of this would have even happened if government didn't go spouting all of these falsehoods about it everywhere.
