Advice on upgrading with a turntable

I've had 2 play:1, a playbar and a connect for my turntable set up for 9 years at this point, last week the connect stopped connecting and has a slow white blinking light. I've tried everything, including customer service and it seems like we cannot revive it. At first I just planned to replace the connect with a port, but after seeing the price of the port and seeing that an era 100 has line in I thought upgrading the speakers would be better bang for my buck. After talking to customer service they advise the connect gets me 30% discount on new products, so now I'm thinking of upgrading the entire system and moving the current set up (sans turntable) to the bedroom.

In the living room I have a 42 inch (??) older television (that will be replaced within the year, but will still be no more than 55 inches) that will be added to the setup. I live in a small NYC apartment so was looking at the immersive set with beam and then connecting the turntable to an era 100. I don't think for the size of my space and my needs that I need an arc, but am open to listening to your advice. Does this seem like a smart move/good set up?

My only concern is that I may want to move the era's to a new location vs where the play:1 are now and there isn't room for the turntable there, so I would still need some sort of port/connect in time, would it make sense to get a connect gen 2 for cheap at that point, or are they going to end up obsolete sooner rather than later like the gen 1 is for me right now? Thanks.
