Which passages from the entire series is the highest quality writing by Pierce Brown?

I seek your assistance. There is a common narrative I hear that the Red Rising series writing quality is subpar, or doesn't stack up to the game of thrones, or joe abercrombies of the world.

I believe they are wrong. We all know that PB's writing massively levels up as the series goes on. I believe most of these critics never made it to the second trilogy.

Help me prove them wrong! What is, in your opinion, great examples of quality writing by pierce brown ? If you don't have the exact passage , even commenting what part or section as a reference would be helpful.
