All Terrain tires versus stock tires

I’m wondering if those who have switched to A/T tires could share their experience with those versus stock tires.

I’d love to know ahead of time if I’ll regret my decision, specifically in terms of decreases in on-road handling and highway noise. Is it wishful thinking to look for additional off-road capability without sacrificing in those areas?
