I see a lot online that religious debates often lead to one of the common talking points from some radical Christians: ‘Aisha was 9 years old.’ For anyone interested in learning more, that specific age isn’t mentioned in the Qur’an. I rarely see people bring up the age difference between Mary and Joseph at the time of their marriage, with Mary often said to have been around 12 though feel free to correct me if I’m mistaken. I don’t mean this in an offensive way, just pointing out that historical contexts are often discussed differently depending on the religion.”
