Wife left her personal belongings in rented flat and neither returning nor taking her belongings

Wife left her personal belongings in rented flat and neither returning nor taking her belongings. Its been more than 6 months and we got married 2 years back. I want to vacate the house now and shift, what shall i do with her belongings. We are not in talking phase now. She has not initiated any legal procedure against me yet. My friend suggested me to text her and ask her to take her belongings by giving reason that i am vacating the premises and she is living separately now. Can she misuse this against me later that i ask her to leave. Also, what if she does not collect still, am i responsible and required to take all her belongings to me. I don't want to take it as i want to move on now. Also, i don't know if i should legally touch her belongings myself without her presence. What should i do?
