my 9-5 pays $180k but i feel empty inside. thinking about quitting to build a SaaS full time. talk me out of it.

i'm nearing 30s, no kids, no mortgage, about $3M saved up. i work in corporate finance and every single day i sit in meetings that could've been emails about spreadsheets that don't matter for a company that wouldn't notice if i disappeared tomorrow. i'm comfortable but i've never been less excited about anything in my life. i

I have a SaaS idea i've been thinking about for about a year. its nothing revolutionary just a tool that solves a problem i deal with at work every day. i've validated it with a few people in my industry and they all said they'd pay for it. i haven't built anything yet because i keep telling myself the smart move is to keep the paycheck but i'm starting to realize i'm going to be 35 doing the same thing making slightly more money and still feeling the same way.

i know the logical answer is "build it on the side" but i've been saying that for a year and i haven't done shit because by the time i get home from work i have nothing left. so i'm either going to quit and go all in or i'm going to keep posting about it on reddit until i'm 40. someone talk me out of it or tell me i'm not crazy.
