CS BS/MS: Did you guys get anything other than a decision email (Fall 2027)

A bit of a silly situation. I am a 2nd year CS major and I applied in the fall (November 2025), and I've been checking the application portal for any changes in my application. After asking around yesterday, I realized that the portal doesn't change, but you're supposed to get an email. So I emailed someone and she said I got the decision email in December, but there was a high chance it was in my spam.

So I check my emails, and I can't find that decision email. 'Cause after 30 days it goes to trash and then gets permanently deleted and whatnot.

I get that this is primarily a skill issue, but they said to check the portal regularly. If I kept on checking the portal, why would I need to check my spam? And for an organization as big as GT, why did the email end up in spam?

My application status in the portal says In Progress, though. Would it be different if I got rejected? And altogether is there a way to know if I got accepted or not?

tldr: i got a decision letter but it's gone now and idk what it says
