Transverse colon ptosis
Hey. I’m going to my first colonoscopy and feeling terrified, especially because of this condition.
So basically my transvese colon hangs very low in the hip (found in mri). My only symptoms are chronic pains in lower right abdomen and side, and strarting to think that transverse colon is simply the reason and maybe I should cancel the procedure.
I’m so scrared of perforation or splenic rupture, which I know, are very rare but still more likely to occur with this kind of case. I’m also scared about the pain since they don’t put you in the sleep where I live.
Is there anyone else with somewhat similar experiences?
