Worth getting back into?

Hey, so figured this would be the best place to ask. I played back during the demo forever ago I liked it for the most part but couldn't spend the huge price tag they wanted then. Thinking about get into it, but curious what you think overall about coming in now? Like is the FOMO bad? Is there cosmetics that I would like that I can never er get again? Are cosmetics and shop items earn able or only looked behind a pay wall?
