Why does every fast food restaurant stack the pickles in the same spot of the sandwich?

Seriously who wants their sandwich like this? The pickles should be evenly spaced out, symmetrical with the patty, so that I get some pickle in every bite. Are the workers just lazy or incompetent? Are they trained to do this?
