Canadian interested in moving to China for tech/AI career

I am a 40 year old Canadian with a Bachelor's degree and numerous Tech certifications. I am interested in moving to China to take part in the new Canadian Chinese economic partnership.

I am particularly interested in Chinese AI companies. I would like to get involved in helping Chinese AI companies to increase their presence in Canada.

Canada will be changing the laws soon to require AI data sovereignty, and I think there is a great opportunity for Chinese companies to help Canada achieve these requirements.

Can anyone provide advisement on if this is an achievable goal, and what types of challenges I will face?
