I will try my best to be respectful with my words because the last thing I want is to hate on anyone, i will be objective.

First, I understand the reason why people want Ezrela in the group, I mean, she was very close to Lexie, she was on the Wannabe team (which is probably the reason this group exists), she is the same height as the rest of the girls, in addition to having a lovely personality and adding cultural diversity to the group.
However, honestly I can't swallow people saying that she should replace Samara, I can see the two coexisting in the group, but if it was to choose only one, I don't see why she would be the best option. I know this has to do with the wave of hate towards Samara and her "controversies" (honestly, I don't believe there are still people who actually believe she's a Zionist or anti-China; aside from the likes about Indian food, there's nothing real about the hate against her, but anyway). I know this is enough ammunition for people to hate her, but looking at it from a cold, hard point of view, I really don't understand why Ezrela would be a better addition to the group than Samara.
Let's think about it a bit, from an analytical point of view, Ezrela entered Dream Academy's training from the beginning, which means she trained for 2 years, Samara ended up joining in the "last batch" of girls (Yoonchae, Hinari, Ua, Mei, Nayoung), which means she trained for about 2 or 3 months. Even with this short training time, Samara managed to stand out because of her singing abilities, and even though she had never trained in dance before (she studied alone at home), she was still able to keep up with the other girls during dance. The missions and still stand out in terms of stage presence (I remember how Chaewon from Lesserafim praised her during the Antifragile test performance) and even when her controversy (mostly fake news) had just emerged, she still managed to get enough votes to place 7th in the final, below only the Katseye members themselves.
Meanwhile, Ezrela was named one of the Underdogs, and although this was at the beginning of the program and she has obviously improved, I can't see exactly where she excels. To be quite objective, in what way is Ezrela "better" than Samara? She was a good dancer, but not one of the best, she had a decent voice, but lacked vocal power or a unique timbre. She was good, but never stood out in any of the performances, and in the final, I remember she was the one who received the fewest points from the judges. Honestly, as a brown-skinned girl, I hate this perspective that only one girl can win or shine. I hate seeing these girls pitted against each other, like Manon vs Samara or Lara vs. Ezrela. But since we have Manon and Lara together, why couldn't we have Samara and Ezrela? I think HxG probably doesn't want to overshadow Prelude over Katseye, and that's why the nationalities should be different, honestly, I think we all agree that Prelude needs stronger vocalists instead of dancers, and I hope the Japanese girl is really what the group needs, but anyway, that's just my opinion, and I confess I'm already fed up with this narrative that Samara should be kicked out of the group to add Ezrela, it's quite exhausting.

O que eu penso a respeito de Ezrela no Prelude
