Hey r/buildinpublic,

Building in public from India – my current project is [AntForms.com](http://AntForms.com), a truly free forever AI-powered form builder (unlimited responses, conditional logic, AI assist, 500+ templates, analytics, 1000+ integrations – no paywalls, no credit card required).

The origin: In January 2026, I kept hitting walls with existing form tools (response caps killing side projects, data chaos, expensive plans). Turned that frustration into action—built and launched in February.

Month 1 progress (organic, no paid ads yet):

* 12K+ unique visitors
* 250K+ requests processed
* Ranked #1 on FAZIER, Just Hunt, Launchpad India + a few other launch/review platforms

What helped traction:

* India accelerators/directories (Just Hunt, Launchpad) gave early cred and visibility boost.
* 100% free + unlimited model converted lurkers to active users quickly.
* Focused on real pains for bootstrappers, indie makers, and teams who hate bloated tools.

Challenges right now: Scaling solo without burning out, deciding on next features (e.g., more AI magic or enterprise tweaks) while keeping the free core intact. No revenue push yet—pure user growth focus.

Grateful to the build-in-public community for the inspiration. Sharing transparently because transparency is the vibe.

Questions for fellow builders:

* What's one early milestone that surprised you the most?
* How do you balance free-tier scaling with sustainability?
* India-specific tips: Best next platforms beyond Launchpad/Just Hunt for indie SaaS?
* Form tool pains you've seen (or fixed) that I might add?

Open to feedback, roasts, advice, or just vibes. If curious: [antforms.com](http://antforms.com) (free to try, zero pressure).

Thanks for reading – let's keep shipping and supporting each other! 🚀
