Daily misting too much humidity?

Hi! I have a baby who I want to make sure is ok! I have a little water tank in there for her but she doesn't seem to recognize it since she mostly stays at the top. I mist daily anyways but now that I have a hydrometer, every time I mist, the humidity always goes to like 90%! Even with one light mist! Is there not enough air in her enclosure? I also have never really seen her drink the water either. She has a basic small enclosure that I see many other people have. It's small because she is but I even have a big one that I've been prepping for her when she gets bigger and the same thing sort of happens. Is it because there is substrate? I dont really feel ok having her in a completely artificial enclosure. She deserves some nature I think? Advice?
