university of Trieste enrollment process

Hi everyone
I’m considering applying to a bachelor’s program at the University of Trieste for English taught courses for business administration and management I’ve read about the TOLC test, but I’m a bit worried about what happens if my score isn’t very high.

I would love to hear from non-EU students who:

• Took the TOLC and didn’t get a perfect score
• Still managed to enroll in a program
• Or had to retake it / complete additional requirements (OFA)

Specifically, I’m curious about:

• How difficult is the admission process for non-EU students if the TOLC score is low?
• What additional steps did you have to take?
• Did it affect your visa application in any way?
• Any tips you’d give someone in my position?

I’m trying to understand the realistic path for international students beyond the official websites and rules, so any personal experience, advice, or warnings would be incredibly helpful.
