I think the problem is designs from various sites being incorporated into the software that interfaces with the printers I know that there's the same issue with my flash Forge. You could argue that this would open up lawsuits for people to sue HP for people printing copyrighted material. What a mess though it's like between that and the state governments trying to lock down 3D printing is really taking a lot of the joy out of this Hobby.
