**We’ve reached one week of sharing the hard truths. Day 7 is about the systems we often take for granted.**

A lot of climate talk focuses on temperature, but the crisis is much broader. Today’s poster looks at the biological and resource-based collapses happening right under our noses:

1. **The Insect Apocalypse:** We are losing 2.5% of our insect biomass every single year. Without them, our entire food chain collapses. No pollinators means no crops.
2. **Coral Reefs:** 90% could be gone by 2050. These aren't just "pretty rocks"; they are the nurseries for 25% of all marine life.
3. **The Meat Footprint:** 83% of all farmland is used for livestock, yet it only provides 18% of our calories. This is the primary driver of deforestation.
4. **Freshwater Scarcity:** 700 million people could be displaced by water shortages in just 4 years.

**Conservation isn't a hobby—it's a survival strategy.** The goal of this series isn't just to spread "doom," but to spark the urgency required for real conservation efforts. Whether it’s supporting rewilding projects, reducing meat consumption, or demanding water-smart policies, we have to move now.

**What fact today surprised you the most? Let’s discuss in the comments.**

It's Day 7. The data is alarming, but our silence is more dangerous. Let’s talk about conservation.
