Question (without bad intentions btw)

Okay, let's say I know two characters, one of 14 years old and the other 13 y/o. I start shipping them because I feel like they'd have good chemistry and/or dynamic. But there is the start of my question: one of them is based on a real person (who is currently alive) who is a married adult with children. Is it weird or anything to ship them considering this? Even though the character in the story it's a minor, I don't want to cross any boundaries that involve anything minimally irl
