Recommendations for “beater” everyday sneaker/trainers?

Certainly fashion isn’t the peak concern here, but honestly, I spend a ton of my time in kind of everyday sneakers that I have generally not put much thought into.

I am not talking about needing like a waterproof shoe that I’m planning on trashing or doing long rough terrain hikes, but just something for wearing every day if working around the house, running errands, or taking my dogs in a walk.

I have a few pairs of nicer sneakers, but generally worry about getting them dirty. I am looking for something that if it happens to get dirty, not the end of the world.

Bonus points if it isn’t too narrow, my feet are just at the upper limit of normal where wide version usually feel too wide and somedefault brands feel too narrow.
