Yield time for 12g [Dedica Arte, HiBrew G5]

Good day/evening espresso lovers, I got dragged myself into this rabbit hole and I love it, but I have a question about yield time for low dose.

So I have Delonghi Dedica Arte and just got HiBrew G5, my botomless portafilter fits only 12 grams of coffee, before hitting showerhead. I have tried dialing in to pull 24g of water, but I never make it more than 10-15 seconds of yield time, I come to the point that if I grind finer, my machine chokes, so I suppose it is as fine as I can go. But then I started thinking, if pulling 25-30 sec for 18 grams of coffee, doesn't naturally mean that pulling lower amount should also have shorter yield time? Crema is nice, doesn't feel watery, just can't tell about the taste yet, as I am still *dialing it in*, but of course tastes definatelly better than same pre-ground coffee on pressurized portafilter.
