Personal Journal Can’t Open

Anyone else having issues with opening the rings? I’ve push down on the tabs as hard as I could and cannot get them to open. At first when I got it, it was pretty difficult but now (one month later) I can’t even open. I’ve emailed customer service but wanted to see if anyone else had this issue? I’ll try and post a video later.
