Suitable string gauges for Floyd Rose w/o too much adjustments

NEWBIE

My guitar teacher told me Floyd Rose was built for 0.009" strings, and they won't work that well with thicker strings w/o fiddling a lot with adjusting the springs and neck relief.

My point is: I want to change my Charvel FR from 9-42 to 10-46, but now I have that shadow of doubt if it is a good move. I expect some minor adjustments due to the increased tension, but not something really dramatic.

So, my question is: should I keep it with 9-42 strings or is it ok to use 10-46?

The guitar in question is exactly this one, in Lambo Green: https://www.charvel.com/gear/shape/so-cal/style-1/pro-mod-so-cal-style-1-hss-fr-e/2966803518
