stopping hrt?

recently been considering stopping my hormones due to side effects and curious if anyone has any advice/experience. i’ve been on testosterone for about 4 years now and have the main effects that i wanted from the treatment (deeper voice, facial hair, body/face changes) and had top surgery about a year and a half ago. overall, im very happy with where i am in my transition and feel comfortable.

ive recently started to notice some hair thinning and my hairline pushing back around my temples. i’m 19 so its a little early for full male pattern baldness but the changes have definitely made me aware that i would like to prevent balding if possible. i’ve done some light research into whether stopping testosterone will help with hair thinning and heard some positive results from people who stopped their hormones. has anyone here stopped hrt for this reason and had positive results? i’m curious about peoples experiences!

(i will also be consulting with my endocrinologist about this idea but just wanted to get a read on others experiences!)
