Driving range issues?

Just out of curiosity does anybody else feel like they hit the ball god awful at the driving range but good on the course? Specifically driving ranges with bays?

Like I’m roughly a 4 handicap, so I’m not the greatest of golfers but I can definitely play. Usually have a handful of low 70s rounds a year, but god you put me on a driving range with bays with like wall dividers I seemingly can’t swing a club worth a shit lmao.

Like I live in SE Michigan and we are finally starting to get some spring ish weather the last week or so. So in my head I’m thinking “let’s start getting a little practice in so we’re not completely rusty for our first round” left the range thinking I created a bunch of swing issues 😂
