Escaped First Command

Been lurking for the past 6 months. Just came here to celebrate escaping First Command today. My Roth IRA funds have been transferred to Vanguard. The reason I found Bogleheads is because I was researching leaving First Command. Now maybe someone else can see this post like I saw many of yours. Below is a fee example of maxing out IRAs for myself and my spouse every year for the next 25 years, yuck.

$1,250 per month, for 25 years. First Command 3.5% front end and 0.96% operating fees. Vanguard 0.03% fee.

First Command Fees over the 25 years: $139,728.30
Vangard Fees: $4,570.73
